Headmaster's Annual Appeal 2012
Dear Friend of Bilton Grange,
During the past year I have been delighted to see so many Old Biltonians returning to visit their former Prep School. This year we have already welcomed a mix of new and familiar faces to events in school and at other venues.
Whilst the Development Office continues to re-connect with Old Biltonians and friends of the school, I am pleased to let you know that, in spite of the challenges the Foundation continues to face with the current economic climate, our objectives remain the same. Working closely with the Governors, our Foundation Trustees are keen to support the development of the school, ensuring that Bilton Grange children benefit from the finest facilities, both inside and outside the classroom.
The coming year's projects include improvements to the lighting in the Gallery, the enhancement of the Library, a covered outdoor area for Pre-Prep's Reception class, tackle wheels for rugby and outdoor games for the children.
To celebrate 125 years since the Rev'd Walter Earle moved his school to this site, the Foundation is appealing for support towards the 125th Anniversary Bursary. This Means-Tested Bursary will fund the education of one local child, from within a ten mile radius of the school, for 5 years. Please help the Foundation to transform the life of a talented and enthusiastic boy or girl, allowing them to benefit from a Bilton Grange education that their families would not, otherwise, be able to afford.
May I take this opportunity to thank those of you who, over the years, have contributed so generously to the various appeals. No gift is too small and I very much hope that you will consider supporting the projects described in this leaflet, all of which will make a difference to the lives of the children in our care.
Thank you.
Peter Kirk
