Bilton Grange is one of the foremost coeducational boarding and day preparatory schools in the country, most recently rated as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted in June 2011. 

The Independent Schools Inspectorate in 2011 made the following comments regarding the school:

'The personal development of pupils is outstanding'

'(there is) excellent achievement and very high standards of behaviour, creating a happy and secure environment in which pupils enjoy a rich childhood'

'Outcomes for the children are outstanding'
