A slick performance by the girls
Girls 1st VII v Beachborough 1st VII
Match Report
The BG 1st VII girls put on a display of Hockey to the highest standard on Wednesday afternoon at Daventry Astroturf. Lead by captain Henri Wood, solid as a rock in defence, the whole team played with composure both on and off the ball. Silky skills from Ella Davenport on the winger tied the Beachborough defence in knots leaving both Skylar Martle and Mimi Tarrant to both score a hat trick of well taken clinical goals. Hannah Swaby and Charlotte Franklin gained more experience on the field of play and both played important supporting roles for the team. Flossie Rosser made a number of important saves in goal to prevent Beachborough from scoring more than their one.
It ended up as 6-1 win for the girls and one of the best displays of VII’s Hockey I have seen for some time. A great team effort.. Very well done, ladies!
