Incredible Fundraising when BG went purple!
Everyone took 'wear something purple' day very seriously, from Reception to the Sixth Form, and together with all the baking and crafting that went on, all the efforts paid off.  An unbelievable amount of over £730 was raised last Friday, all of which will go directly to the Turner Syndrome Society.

It was great to see everyone take a break from the usual uniform, and come to school bedecked in purple.  As usual the manicure stall was hugely popular - with a newcomer to its midst - Mr Piper, Deputy Head, was sporting a funky multicoloured manicure by the end of break time!

A big thank you must go to everyone who contributed, with particular thanks to Mrs Green Armytage, Mrs de Clermont and Mrs Mitchell, who prepared the stalls and baked some absolutely delicious cupcakes, and took the purple icing to a whole new height!  Thanks to everyone who bought, ate, and wore something purple - a huge amount of money was raised for a great cause.  Well done to all the pupils who manned stalls in Friday breaktime and helped make this fundraiser such an enjoyable way to start an exeat!
