New bursary launched to mark 125th Anniversary

Bilton Grange Preparatory School announces today a new 100% Bursary, which is to be made available to a local child between the ages of 7 and 10 years.  To mark the 125th Anniversary of the school during 2012, the Bursary has been launched by the Bilton Grange Foundation and will enable one local child to have full fees at the school paid throughout their time at Bilton Grange.

This new Bursary is in addition to the existing Bursary and Academic Scholarship scheme, which is also now open for applications from families with children wishing to start at the school in September 2012.  The Bursary scheme is open to parents with children aged between 4 and 11, and offers various degrees of financial assistance with the fees.  This is judged on the basis of financial need, and families wishing to apply are encouraged to complete the necessary paperwork which is available for download from the school website.  The Academic Scholarship scheme is open to families with children aged between 7-11, and is an award of 10% of the value of fees, and is judged on academic merit.  Academic Scholarship selection exams will take place at School on Saturday 4th February.

Peter Kirk, Headmaster of Bilton Grange commented:

“2012 marks an important anniversary for Bilton Grange, and I am delighted we are able to celebrate it with this unique bursary for a local child.  I would like to encourage any family with a child who they think might benefit from an education at Bilton Grange, and all the opportunities this offers, to apply for this significant award.”
