OB Day

Head and OB President
Former pupils, staff and parents of Bilton Grange School, Dunchurch were reunited at the annual Old Biltonian Day on Sunday July 1st.
Teenagers who left the school in the past few years rubbed shoulders with men old enough to be their fathers and grandfathers – the oldest being Mr Dalton Hepworth (91) who was a pupil from 1926 to 1929.
After the traditional chapel service and annual general meeting of the Old Biltonian Society, Headmaster Peter Kirk and his wife Rosemary hosted a drinks reception followed by lunch.
There is a strong family tradition of sending children to Bilton Grange and the current President of the Old Biltonian Society Robert Winterton is no exception. His father, the MP Sir Nicholas Winterton is a former pupil and his own children now attend the school. All three generations were at the lunch.
The current Head boy Richard Assheton – one of five pupils who have won academic scholarships to Rugby School this year - follows in the footsteps of his father William who is an old boy and also a former President of the OB Society.
A number of regional social events for Old Biltonians are planned for the coming year and former pupils are invited to register their interest in taking part via the OB Society link on the school website
