Doctor Reynolds came to school to talk to the children all about her work. She explained what she does to help look after people and make them well. Some of the children dressed up as a doctor.
Doctor Reynolds showed the children how to listen to a patient’s heart beat and chest. We all had a go at listening to our friends heart beat.
The doctor sometimes has to test a patient’s reflexes.
Sometimes people have to have their injuries bandaged.
The doctor has to ask questions and examine a patient to find out what is wrong with them.
