James Waterfield is, once again, the winner of the Junior Championship and the Pell Trophy. James played extremely well and consistently to a high standard, apart from the second hole! Tom Barker played very competently, with a number of fine shots from tee to green. He won the Senior Competition by 8 points to win The Jackson Trophy and become the School Champion. The Girls’ Competition was keenly contested and Charlotte Hoggarth played steadily and ran out a fairly comfortable winner. She will be the deserving recipient of the Milne Trophy. The Section Competition and Sinclair Cup was won by Churchill who ran out comfortable winners with 80 points. Nelson secured second place with 59 points and Wellington came third with 35 points. Unfortunately, there were no golfers representing Mountbatton. Thank you from all concerned, to Gareth, our greenkeeper, who prepared the course for the event; he has kept the course in super condition this term. Well done to all the competitors who tried hard, gave their best and played the game in the right spirit.
