Sunday Chapel 4th November
For All Saints’ Sunday, we were delighted to welcome Fr Richard Harrison, the Chaplain of Uppingham School, as our preacher. The service was led by third form pupils and included the hymns ‘Be thou my vision’, ‘Be still for the presence of the Lord’ and ‘Make me a channel of your peace’. The Chapel Choir sang a lively arrangement of ‘When the Saints go marching in’.
In his sermon, Fr Richard reminded us that we shouldn’t worry about life as God takes care of us. He illustrated this with a very entertaining version of the life of St Francis, involving children in impromptu walk-on parts and a cameo by a fox-fur as the wolf of Gubbio!
