Year One Science

Year One have taken part in a variety of activities investigating how movement can be created through pushes and pulls. The children in Thames enjoyed finding examples of pushes and pulls in the Pre-Prep playground and exploring how a selection of toys move. They learnt about how the wind makes things move, e.g. trees, washing, windmills, wind turbines, leaves, rubbish and sailing boats. As part of their investigation Thames made paper windmills and went outside to experiment with them.
