Making Apple Juice

Peeling…
After tea on Friday 12th October 2007 Mrs Worrall, mother of boarder, Sasha, kindly came into school with a French contraption, like a giant steamer, from which the sixth form boarders made apple juice. We had a lot of fun, especially eating the left-over apple mush. We were a little disappointed that so many apples had produced so little juice so Mrs Worrall offered to make it into apple jelly at home and bring it back to school so that all the boarders can try some. Thank you to Mrs Worrall, Mrs Krarup, who donated the apples and the catering staff who let us use their kitchen.
