2nd XI lose unbeaten record
Spratton Hall 2nd XI 5 v 1 Bilton Grange 2nd XI
The second team’s unbeaten run came to an end at Spratton. Bilton Grange did not start well, conceding three goals within the first ten minutes. Things looked up when Tom Winterton scored a fantastic goal from the only Bilton Grange short corner. However Spratton stamped their dominance on the game by immediately scoring a very well executed fourth. The 2nd XI came out in the second half with a much more determined and resilient attitude, defending well to only concede one more goal in the second half. Hats off to a very skilful and well drilled Spratton 2nd XI. Man of the match is awarded to Sam Bennett for a spirited effort throughout the game.
