2nd XI draw with Dragon
BG attack the Dragon
Bilton Grange 2nd XI 0 v 0 Dragon 2nd XI
The 2nd XI showed a huge improvement from their last game, dominating the game from the first whistle. Bilton Grange started with a great tempo, passing the ball around quickly and playing one or two-touch hockey. Dragon, however, defended very well throughout the game. Despite all the pressure they built up on Dragon in the first half BG failed to find the net. Some very good defending from short corners by Dragon resulted in a half time score line of 0-0. After the break, Dragon came out the better team, enjoying 10 minutes of testing out the Bilton Grange defence. Dominic Craven marshalled his defence very well to keep Dragon out. Dennis Kostyan had the best chance of the game, dribbling into the top of the D and smashing the ball past the goalie but sadly just inches past the outside of the post. Man of the match goes to George Homer on his debut in the 2nd XI with a fantastic display of tackling ability.
