Reception Story Box Visitors
Wishing for the magic to happen
The children in Reception have been thinking about stories written by different authors. They have enjoyed listening to Nick Butterworth, Shirley Hughes and Allan Ahlberg stories, amongst others. One of the most exciting parts of the topic was when a visitor arrived and the children had to close their eyes, cross their fingers and wish that a story would appear in the magic ‘Story Box’. The children were very lucky as each time a new book appeared the visitor read it to them. Thank you very much to Mr Kirk, Mr Tollit, Mrs Vinsome, Mr Noble, Mrs Sakkalli, Mrs Greenwood, Mrs Brindley, Miss Tudor, Miss Hunter and Mrs Ovens for taking the time to come and read to the children.
