BETT @ Olympia
Every year in January, a major ICT trade exhibition takes place at Olympia in London. The BETT show is aimed at the Education market and thousands of teachers and ICT advisors attend every year to see the latest ideas, hardware and software. I was able take the train to London and join the crowds and visit just a small handful of the 600+ exhibitors to bring back some ideas that we could explore. It’s a great place to see new software in action and to observe the ways in which ICT continues to have a major impact on teaching and learning in schools. I have been able to report back with a number of ideas to the BG ICT committee, some of which may be appearing in a classroom near you before long!
