The Juniors and Thirds greatly enjoyed their visit to Treasure Island, a production staged at the Old Rep theatre, Birmingham. The matinee performance, performed by an all male cast, was set on a very flexible stage which cleverly doubled as two taverns, the ship and the island, all thanks to some clever props, lighting and sound. Thanks to the BG catering department, we were well supplied with packed lunches and a carton ration of grog just before the return journey.
