Testing the welly

The children have been finding out why we wear different types of shoes.  We carried out an experiment to find out the best shoes to wear for splashing around in puddles.  The children predicted which would keep their feet dry before placing them in the water.  We found out that the wellies were best because they were waterproof and tall.  The children especially enjoyed seeing the water go through the sandals and party shoes.
