2nd XI impress again

Sam Bennett’s 2nd XI started the game very well with quick accurate passes, putting Foremarke under pressure. It was Foremarke, however, who grabbed the first goal in a rather fortunate manner. The 2nd XI reacted very well, and soon earned themselves an equaliser with Rory Molloy sneaking in at the back post. Foremarke came out after half time the stronger team, putting a lot of pressure on the visitors. BG found themselves 2-1 down with fifteen minutes to go. The 2nd XI responded well again and dug deep right up until the end. Eventually, they were rewarded for their effort with a fantastic finish from Robbie Astin in the last minute. 2-2 a fair score line for two very evenly matched teams. Man of the match goes to Robbie Astin.
