Colts C and D run riot

The Colts Squad showed its depth against Foremark Hall on Wednesday, with both Cs and Ds winning comprehensively. Set pieces looked slick and units clicked as attackers worked well and defences shut out their travelling opposition. In slightly shortened games, the C team scored 7 unanswered goals, while the D team went one better.

Both games were dominated by Bilton. Indeed, Rohan Bedi, goalkeeper for the Ds, has not had to make a save in two matches. The defensive backs for both sides were under little pressure and coped well with what they had. It was up front that the sides looked dangerous, with both Centre Forwards bagging lots of goals (Tom Brindley, newly promoted to the Cs, and Kit Eastwood both claiming 4!). All three forward players got onto the score sheet for the Cs.

Players have continued to pose pleasant selection questions. There are bound to be some more changes before the teams get a chance to settle together.
