1st XI hit 3!
After a lacklustre first half, in which Ben Barwell managed to score the opening goal, the 1st XI managed to play some hockey of which they are capable. Will Richards was again extremely assured at the back and both Charles Hurley and Henry Bletsoe had chances to add to BG’s single goal. It was Bletsoe who netted the second, following up a shot at goal that rebounded off the keeper’s pads.
James Walker, on the right wing, had his best game of the season so far and in goal, Callum Grier looked reasonably untroubled. Oliver Robinson slotted the 3rd goal to complete a 3 - 1 victory over Spratton who competed courageously throughout.
