Massai Mud Hut experience for 3G

Massai Mud Hut
As part of their work on Kenya, 3G concluded the term by having a go at building a Massai mud hut from natural materials. The huts were, obviously, only models of the real things but it was a great experience for the class to understand the living conditions of the Massai.
In addition to learning about the Massai this term, the 3rd form has studied the Kikuyu and the Kibera (a shanty town outside Nairobi). They have learnt about the physical conditions of Kenya, where the majority of the population live and they have been able to compare the lifestyle of a couple of Kenyan children with their own.
