Section Cricket

Rules of the game:

  1. Each team MUST provide a scorer.
  2. 9 players a side.
  3. A bowler may bowl a maximum of THREE overs.
  4. Each team has 10 overs, which MUST be completed within 45mins.
  5. New rule for no-balls: Batsman will be given a free ball which they CANNOT be bowled or caught on; although they CAN be run-out (this follows the no-ball called by the Umpire).

 

Junior Section Cricket Semi Finals Friday 9th May

  • Mountbatten vs. Churchill
  • VENUE: Colts B Pitch
  • UMPIRES: DRN + DMS
  • Wellington vs. Nelson
  • VENUE: Colts Pitch
  • UMPIRES: PJN + PB

 

  • Start time:   16:30 prompt.
  • Finish time:  18:00 prompt.

Finals 15/15 and 3rd & 4th Place 12/12 will be played on Saturday the 10th of May 14:00-16:00ish

Final will be a 15/15 game with the same rules although bowlers will be allowed to bowl four overs max. 3rd and 4th will be 12 overs each. Final will be played on the Colts Square and 3rd & 4th place on the Colts B pitch.

 

Senior Section Cricket Semi Finals Friday 9th May

  • UMPIRES: MGT + BL
  • Wellington vs. Nelson
  • VENUE: Astro Square
  • UMPIRES: ADTG + CAH

 

  • Start time:   16:30 prompt.
  • Finish time:  18:00 prompt.

Finals 15/15 and 3rd & 4th Place 12/12 will be played on Saturday the 10th of May 14:00-16:00ish
