Colts B 47  King Henry VIII, Coventry 7

The Colts B continued their splendid run of form with a convincing victory over ‘Henry’s’.  Although slow to start, the tries started to come half-way through the first half.  Strong running from the front five of George Willmott, Oliver Jacques, Harry Smith, Hugo Swaby and Jack Harwood ensured that BG spent much of the half in attack and BG went into half-time with a 12 point lead.

The second half saw greater involvement from the backs with Oliver Rogerson, Milo Lakin and Harry Cash dominating the centre field.  Sadly, on the wings, Will Sturrock and James Eggleston did not see a lot of the ball but it wasn’t the sort of day for throwing the ball around as scrum-half Jacob Hardy-King would testify.  For the record, tries came from Willmott(3), Smith(2), Cash and Rogerson.  Rogerson converted 5 of them and Thomas Jenkins added the final 2 points.

The Colts B will be travelling to play Winchester House on Saturday.
