Under 10’s play with a passion!
It was a game of non-stop action. From the start, both sides showed a commitment and a passion to win possession of the Rugby ball. Fierce tackling and strong running from both sides were in evidence but it was Warwick who broke the deadlock, going over in the corner. In the second half, the front row of Harry Smith, George Willmott and Oliver Jacques tried to batter their way through a stout Warwick defence but to no avail. Fly-half, Oliver Rogerson, and the inside centre, Harry Cash, also tried to find their way through and although we threatened the Warwick line, their defence was impervious. Jack Harwood showed his growing confidence with some tough-tackling, no matter what the size of his opponent.
Two tries from our visitors in the second half did flatter them but BG can be greatly encouraged by the progress tht they have made over such a short time. The Colts B, which will contain many if not all of these players, can travel to Abberley Hall on Wednesday with confidence.
