Shabbat Celebration

The children have been finding about the ways in which people celebrate joyous festivals and occasions. They learned how Jewish children and adults prepare for and celebrate Shabbat. We set up a Shabbat table which some artefacts, e.g. candles, hallah loaf, kiddush cup, white tablecloth, prayer shawl, torah scroll and role-played how a Jewish family celebrates this occasion
