Bilton Grange in the News
Independent schools inspectors say that Bilton Grange “provides an environment where pupils grow and blossom” and describe the quality of education, facilities, leadership and management at the prep school in Dunchurch near Rugby as “outstanding”.
In the wake of this glowing report Headmaster Peter Kirk is hoping that more parents will apply for a bursary – now worth up to 90 per cent of the fees – for a local child with outstanding academic, musical, artistic or sporting potential to attend the school.
“This represents a fantastic opportunity for the right youngster to take up a place at one of the country’s leading Prep Schools where he or she can achieve to the highest standards,” he says.
Bilton Grange has pupils from a wide range of backgrounds and is not an academically selective school. Class numbers rarely exceed 16.
The means-tested Bursary could be particularly attractive to parents with children who are doing well in the classroom and in extracurricular activities like sport, dance, drama or music – most of which are included in the fees at Bilton Grange.
A Bilton couple whose child who has won a Bursary to attend Bilton Grange are keen to encourage other families to take advantage of the financial help on offer.
They say: “We have been given the opportunity for our child to benefit from an outstanding education which we would not have been able to obtain without financial help. It has changed all our lives.”
Parents of 7 to 11 year olds who would like to find out more should contact the Headmaster’s Secretary on 01788 810217 or email hmsec@biltongrange.co.uk
