3rd July 2014
To celebrate the children’s successful performances and round off our outdoor Science for the term Year 3 were treated to an afternoon of Camp Craft. Mr Moore very kindly brought over to the Wild Gardens his bow saw and other equipment to ensure a smoky but fun filled afternoon. It wasn’t long before all the children had managed to collect a considerable amount of fuel to get the camp fire roaring. Hot dogs bubbled and were consumed with great relish before, of course, marshmallow toasting and ‘smorfs’ were made. Sticky faced (and fingered), smelling of smoke we returned to school. There were several voices heard asking hopefully if we could do the same again tomorrow!
