Bilton Grange Pre-Prep and Preparatory School, Top Independent Day and Boarding, Co-educational, Rugby Warwickshire UK

Bilton Grange celebrated World Book day on Friday last week. This year’s theme was Shakespeare and Beatrix Potter, as 2016 celebrates the 400th anniversary of the playwright’s death, and 150 years since the birth of Beatrix Potter.

Parents were greeted in Prep reception by Juliet in her castle tower, Shakespeare walked the school corridors while Prospero, Romeo, Iago and many more famous characters from his works roamed the halls.

Peter Rabbit was seen bobbing from classroom to classroom with several Mr McGregor’s close behind, Jemima Puddle Duck happily waddled from lesson to lesson while Mrs Tittlemouse ran the book fair helped by F.A.B parents.

Mrs Daly arranged competitions, including a Beatrix Letter hunt around the school – Congratulations to the winners, Katie Judd, Keira Masefield, Leia Gonzalez-Lee, Venetia Miers, Florence Rose and Evie Philips, each winning a book of their choice from the Travelling Book company.

There was so much effort put in to the costumes – for the full gallery click here.
