Our 3rd Form were treated to an egg-cellent maths lesson on probability by Mr Taylor. The Year 5 pupils, spent an egg-citing morning working out the likelihood that the next egg to be cracked over their teacher’s heads was hard boiled or raw and in doing so represented probability as fractions, decimals and words.
Mr Osiatynski said, ‘we always encourage our teaching team to look for exciting ways to bring lessons to life and Mr Taylor has devised a fun and practical way to teach probability to our pupils. The pupils have all quickly grasped the concept of probability and in the process, have enjoyed a lesson they will probably never forget – a win:win for everyone!’
