DIRECTOR OF EXTERNAL RELATIONS

To take responsibility for the recruitment and admissions process throughout the school. Direct experience of a similar role is ideal but not necessary; an engaging and friendly manner together with the ability to organise and prioritise a varied workload, together with an understanding of and sympathy with how independent schools operate, is absolutely essential.

As Director of External Relations you will have responsibility for marketing and communications, with strategic input at the highest level of the school, this would be offered with enhanced remuneration. Fee remission is available for any children of the successful candidate.

SCIENCE TEACHER

Bilton Grange is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Science with strong subject knowledge to teach from Year 4 to Year 8. The ability and confidence to teach successfully Year 7 and 8 Chemistry, Biology and Physics is an essential requirement of the post. We look forward to hearing from enthusiastic and passionate teachers who can bring Science to life and inspire a love of learning.  The school was inspected in 2017 by ISI, achieving excellent rating in all areas.

This is a position open to both experienced and newly qualified teachers with a September or January start. The school is committed to CPD and its development of staff, with Science being taught in well-equipped laboratories. GAP ASSISTANTS

Applications for GAP Assistants will open in October 2018 and we will require support from September 2019 to July 2020 Or From January 2020 to December 2020. Please note we are no longer accepting applications for Sept 2018-Dec 2019.

Bilton Grange is proud to support national and international Assistants in gaining valuable life experiences during their break from studying. Our Gap Assistants are selected independently following an application letter and/or a recommendation. After being long listed applicants will be interviewed via telephone, and if selected for shortlisting will have a further interview via telephone or skype.

During term time the Gap Assistants support the everyday running of the school and follow a very busy timetable assisting teachers in class, on the games field, in the boarding houses and supervising break times, lunch queues. During the holidays ‘Gaps’ enjoy time away from the school and more often than not travel into Europe or around the U.K.
