LOCUM (TEMPORARY) BURSAR
Bilton Grange is a leading Prep School in a stunning setting: 90 acres of Warwickshire parkland with a Pugin mansion at its heart. More than this though, the school is committed to growing, developing and innovating to remain at the leading edge of British education – to be The Best. Many exciting developments and opportunities have propelled the school forward over the past few years, but there is much more still to be done. A recent full ISI inspection found the school fully compliant and excellent in all aspects of the education provided.
We are looking for a Locum Bursar to work between 3 and 5 days a week for a period of 6 to 9 months. You must have the drive, determination, knowledge and skills to lead and manage the operational and financial functions of the school and to provide counsel to the Headmaster on commercial issues. Your skills and experience may be biased towards financial, compliance or operational matters, but you will need to be capable of engaging with all aspects of the support operation.
Salary, terms and conditions will be commensurate with the role and agreed with the successful candidate.

Bilton Grange is proud to support national and international Assistants in gaining valuable life experiences during their break from studying. Our Gap Assistants are selected independently following an application letter and/or a recommendation. After being long listed applicants will be interviewed via telephone, and if selected for shortlisting will have a further interview via telephone or skype.
During term time the Gap Assistants support the everyday running of the school and follow a very busy timetable assisting teachers in class, on the games field, in the boarding houses and supervising break times, lunch queues. During the holidays ‘Gaps’ enjoy time away from the school and more often than not travel into Europe or around the U.K.
The application window is now open for GAP Assistants to commence work in September 2018 (to July 2019) or from January 2019 (to December 2019).
