As a boarding and day school for children up to 13, we are regularly inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI). Our most recent full ISI inspection was Autumn 2017 when ISI gave Bilton Grange the highest rating possible, the report is available here: Bilton Grange Quality Inspection Report 2017.
ISI visit independent schools every six years, and our previous ISI inspection was in October and November 2011, and the report, which again gave the highest possible rating, can be found here: ISI Report January 2012
As a boarding school, ISI also visits more frequently, every three years, to inspect the welfare provision and boarding facilities of Bilton Grange. This separate inspection took place in November 2014, and the report can be found here. Should you wish to see the previous report by Ofsted into the boarding facilities, the full report can be downloaded here: Ofsted Report 2011
In line with new regulations, all future boarding and Early Years inspections will be undertaken by ISI. During 2008 OFSTED undertook a spot check inspection, the report of which can be found here: Ofsted 2008 EYFS report
In addition to the necessary formal inspections, Tatler and the Good Schools Guide also write their own reviews of a select group of top independent schools, and we are delighted that Bilton Grange has featured in both guides in recent editions.
