Green Fingers win the Royal Horticultural Society award
Our Green Fingers gardening activity has been awarded the Royal Horticultural Society Level 4 award. This follows on from two years of hard work in the activity which saw us awarded level 1, 2 and 3 before 4 this year.
The club works on a variety of different topics, such as descriptive writing, science investigations, and art. It then shares plants with the community by growing sunflowers and giving them to local schools and a local care home. The club also supports our wildlife through our gardening, and through schemes such as making insect houses and bird feeders.
