Hannah represents BG at Early Years education conference in Italy

BG was represented on the global stage last week at the EARLI SIG 28 International Conference in Reggio Emilia, Italy – a city renowned for its pioneering influence on Early Years education.
The conference theme is Playful Worlds: Play, Creativity, and Learning Across Analogue and Digital Spaces and our Early Years Co-ordinator, Hannah Payne, presented Playful Ecologies for Inclusive, Equitable Literacy: CARE–KNOW–DO in Analogue and Digital Spaces.
Drawing on innovative practice from BG’s pre-school, The Nest, Hannah’s research explores how analogue and digital experiences can be integrated thoughtfully and ethically, always placing children’s voices, curiosity, creativity and meaningful learning at the heart of the curriculum.
Her presentation reflected BG’s commitment to leading conversations around ethical AI, sustainability and inquiry-led learning in the Early Years, and aligns with her doctoral research into inquiry-based teaching and learning.
