Whether you’re interested in day or boarding, for The Nest pre-school, pre-prep or prep ages, we are here to help every step of the way to make the admissions journey an easy one.
Having explored our website, we encourage you to come and see us and experience our beautiful surroundings for yourself. We invite you to meet our charismatic Head, Gareth Jones, his dedicated staff team and some our enthusiastic and friendly pupils.
We can arrange a personal visit, or please do come and join one of our fun and friendly open days held every Autumn and Spring.
When you have decided Bilton Grange is the ideal place for your child, we will guide you through the registration process.
Children can join us at all ages and stages subject to availability, but the main points of entry are:
- Pre-prep – The Nest (pre-school) for children aged three and Reception, aged four
Due to growing demand and our commitment to providing exceptional education, we are delighted to announce the expansion of our Year 2 cohort with the addition of a brand-new class.
- Prep – for children aged eight (Year 4) and also children aged 11 (Year 7) joining from secondary schools which finish at 11 or perhaps as overseas students

Birmingham New Street
Rugby School
Rugby School, one of the UK’s leading co-educational schools, is just a 5-minute drive from BG. The two schools are part of the Rugby School Group and many of our children at BG go on to Rugby. There is also a new Boarding Pathway to Rugby – find out more here
National Space Centre
Featuring the UK’s largest planetarium, the National Space Centre in Leicester is just 48 minutes from BG and offers unforgettable experiences for all ages. Explore the world of space science with plenty of hands-on fun and learning.
Althorp House
Althorp, one of England’s premier historic houses, has been home to the Spencer family for more than 500 years. It is the childhood home, and now resting place for Diana, Princess of Wales. It features a fascinating variety of pictures, furniture, ceramics and fine interiors and is a 30-minute drive from BG.
Silverstone Circuit
The UK’s only Formula 1 circuit, Silverstone is just 39 minutes from BG. The legendary circuit is not only home to premier racing events, it also offers driving and karting experiences, as well as the Silverstone Musuem.
Cambridge
Cambridge is brimming with learning, culture and discoveries. A winner of the Condé Nast Traveller Best UK City Award, it’s a family destination, with everything from punting on the River Cam, to a visit to the renowned Fitzwilliam Museum. It can be reached in just under 90 minutes from BG.
Daylesford Organic
Founded by the Bamford family, Daylesford Organic is located in the heart of the Cotswolds and promises the perfect countryside escape. It is an organic farm destination where wellness, sustainability and seasonal living come together across its hugely popular farm shops, retreat areas and cafés. And just under an hour’s drive from BG.
Soho Farmhouse
Surrounded by 100 acres of Oxfordshire countryside, the iconic Soho Farmhouse is a rural escape offering food and drinks, wellness experiences and outdoor activities. It features a spa and gym, indoor/outdoor pool, sunken hot tubs in the lake, along with a selection of stylish eateries – in under an hour’s drive away.
The RSC

Diddly Squat Farm shop and The Farmer’s Dog
Made famous by the Amazon series Clarkson’s Farm, Diddly Squat Farm Shop claims it’s ‘the greatest farm shop in the world’. Established in 2020 by Jeremy Clarkson, the quirky Chipping Norton barn sells a range of local food, drink and gifts.

Created by Founder and Lifetime Ambassador Raymond Blanc OBE, Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons offers world-class indulgence. With two Michelin stars retained since its first year first year of opening in 1984, its restaurant offers an outstanding eating experience. Please note, the hotel is closed for redevelopment until summer 2027.
London Euston
