DT
Design Technology is a popular subject across the School and our pupils enjoy learning, designing and creating in one of the best equipped and resourced prep school departments in the country.
CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacture) is fully integrated across the curriculum and pupils from Year 3 upwards are taught in the DT lab. The department equipment includes a 3D printer, Roland vinyl cutter and milling machine which ensures that the quality of project work is of a professional level.
Regular trips to the Design Museum in London continue to keep pupils inspired and aware of the next generation of designers and perhaps one day, they might be exhibiting there
We have excellent Senior School links and we continue to enjoy Design Technology scholarship success to a range of top Senior Schools.
